Things you MIGHT not know about me..

If you've known me for sometime then you may know some of this already..maybe not. (In no particular order..)

1) I am a preacher's kid (PK!) Yes, my dad is a United Methodist Preacher. I loved being a PK. We moved around a lot and my brother and I make friends easily. It was really cool to go to college and already have friends.

2) I have a hard time answering the questions, "How many siblings do you have?" Well, I have two brothers but my oldest brother died when he was 4. So I get a little confused whether to answer 1 or 2. Usually I say 2 brother's and that's enough for most people. Sometimes people will ask questions about them and I explain. He died when I was 2. I don't really remember him but he has impacted my life greatly. It has shaped my life and makes me the mom I am today. I'm not sure how my parents survived his death...but I guess they had too, they had myself and my younger brother to take care of. We named Parker after my oldest brother. I know that he is in heaven looking down on me and watching over me.

3) I used to be a vegetarian. I was one for a long time. Then I became pregnant with Parker and all I craved was fried chicken and bacon. I remember going to Sam's one day, while pregnant, and passing by a sample of fried chicken. It was the only thing I could think of the rest of the day. I finally gave in and ate meat. I hope to one day go back to being a vegetarian.

4) I had my concealed hand gun permit. Yes, I packed heat. I let it expire when baby Parker was born. Didn't really think it was appropriate to carry a gun in a diaper bag. I will get it back one day. I enjoy shooting my pistol. I carried a 380.

5) I think potty humor is funny. Enough said.

6) I have slight OCD. For example, every Friday I put our bath towels we have used for the week in the dirty clothes. When I wash, I put the most recently washed towels on the bottom and the ones on top we use first. Same with wash clothes and Parker's pajamas.

Have a nice weekend!
